Bloodbeats is a third person, action-adventure game set in a fantasy medieval setting with the elements of a rhythm game. With a world where humans reside in luxury and vampires are almost extinct due to the ruthless hunting games, the player is placed in the shoes of one of the few vampires still alive in the world. The player starts off as a vampire with no specialisation and only knows the sounds of the party and music they grew up listening to from the human celebrations. The player must explore the country of Gloombreak, complete errands, engaging in rhythmic combat by timing their attacks and level up. The player has a plethora of classes they can choose from and gain chaotic dark abilities they can utilise to gain reputation, build relationships with well-known humans ang gain power to avoid getting hunted.

In this design document, the main focus was for numeric design within a game, Bloodbeats is a game that resulted from this and is a rhythmic action RPG. This document has a concise GDD explaining the game and its core features as well as different tabs in an excel sheet for different tables showcasing formula and numbers within the game.

Numeric design included: Core exchange values and global levers for the entire game, levelling and class numeric design with their local levers and base numbers, weapon and ability numeric design with their local levers and base numbers as well as the processes and formulas for calculating stats, damage, costs, buffs and experience. All of this topped off with a glossary explaining any game specific terms.
